1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or booking a consultation on Levita, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Who Can Use Levita

The following eligibility requirements apply:

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our services independently.
• Patients under 18 may use the platform only with the verified consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who must create the account and provide consent for data processing. Levita reserves the right to request documentation verifying parental authority and to close any account opened by a minor without authorization.
• You warrant that the information you provide during registration is accurate and complete.

3. Service Description

Levita is a telemedicine platform that enables patients to receive remote medical consultations from licensed healthcare professionals in Albania.

• What it offers: Video or message consultations with licensed doctors, AI-assisted diagnostics, prescription and referral management, and secure storage of digital medical history.
• What it is NOT: A replacement for in-person or emergency medical care — in an emergency, contact 127 immediately.
• Each consultation is an independent interaction unless your doctor specifies otherwise. Levita does not establish an ongoing doctor-patient relationship.

4. Pricing and Payment

All consultations require prepayment at the time of booking via credit/debit card.

• Standard price: 35 Euro / 35,000 Lekë.
• Current price (promotional offer -51%): 17 Euro / 17,000 Lekë.
• Prices may change. The price confirmed at the time of booking is final for that consultation.
• All prices include applicable VAT.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Our cancellation and refund terms:

• Cancellation ≥24 hours before the consultation: Full refund or rescheduling.
• Cancellation <24 hours before the consultation: Rescheduling within 7 days (no refund).
• Patient no-show: No refund.
• Doctor no-show or technical issue on Levita's side: Automatic full refund within 5-7 business days.
• Dissatisfaction with quality: Contact support within 48 hours for a case-by-case review.

6. Important Medical Notice and AI Limitations

Please note the following important information:

• Levita's information and services are for informational and consultative purposes only and do not replace an in-person medical examination, a definitive diagnosis, or hospital treatment.
• The AI-assisted diagnostic tool is a supporting instrument for the doctor and does NOT constitute a medical diagnosis. AI-generated results must not be interpreted or used as an independent clinical decision. Every AI result is subject to the review and final judgment of a licensed doctor, who bears clinical responsibility.
• Always seek your doctor's advice for any serious or chronic condition. Do not disregard professional medical advice based solely on information obtained from this service.
• Doctors on Levita are professionals licensed in Albania who exercise their own independent clinical judgment.

7. Platform Use

By using Levita, you agree not to:

• Provide false identity or medical information.
• Use the platform on behalf of someone else without authorization.
• Modify, copy, or redistribute the platform's materials.
• Attempt to access the data of other patients or doctors.
• Use the platform for unlawful purposes.

8. Intellectual Property

All materials, trademarks, logos, software, and content of the Levita platform are the exclusive property of Levita Med and are protected by intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

The following limitations apply:

• Levita is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
• Our maximum liability for any claim related to a consultation will not exceed the amount paid for that specific consultation.
• This limitation does not apply in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by Levita or its medical staff.
• Doctors are independent licensed professionals and bear their own professional liability under Albanian law.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania. Any dispute will first be resolved through negotiation. If no resolution is reached within 30 days, the matter will be submitted to the competent courts of Tirana, Albania.

11. Service Termination

The following terms apply to service termination:

• Patients may stop using and close their account at any time, without prior notice, through account settings or by request at contact@levita.ai.
• Doctors / professional providers may terminate the relationship with 30 days' prior notice, to ensure continuity of care and the transfer of ongoing obligations to patients.
• Levita may suspend or close any account in the event of a breach of these Terms, fraud, or a risk to patient safety.

12. Changes to the Terms

Levita reserves the right to update these Terms. Significant changes will be communicated to you via email or platform notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
